FERRARA TECHNOPOLE     LABS     SERVICES     HUB TALENTI    HIGHLIGHTS    MANAGEMENT     CONTACTS

Talent Hub: Ferrara's regional group meets at Ferrara's Tecnopolo

29 July 2025

On 24 June, the first meeting of the Hub Talenti project's regional working group was held at the Ferrara Technology Park. This initiative marks the relaunch of the valuable experiences of the former Area S3, managed by ART-ER and specifically dedicated to young people.

Hub Talenti was created with a clear and bold vision: to accompany graduates, ITS diploma holders, PhD students and researchers in acquiring new, vital skills, providing them with the tools to navigate an ever-changing job market. But the ambition does not stop there. The project aims to weave a dense network of synergies between all regional actors involved in training, from universities to research centres, from schools to businesses, to create a cohesive and responsive ecosystem. The objective is twofold: on the one hand, to respond in a more targeted manner to the concrete needs of businesses and territories, ensuring that the skills developed are immediately usable; on the other hand, to make Emilia-Romagna an irresistible magnet, even for brains from abroad who wish to return to Italy.

The meeting, organised on the initiative of Dr Maria Giovanna Govoni, representative for the Ferrara area of the Hub Talenti coordinated by ART-ER, provided an interesting opportunity for discussion and mutual understanding between the various parties involved. It was an opportunity to lay the foundations for future collaborations and to map out common paths.

In addition to representatives from ART-ER and the Ferrara Technopole, the meeting was also attended by representatives from the Municipality of Ferrara, SI.PRO. Agency for the Development of the Province of Ferrara, ER.GO, Regional Agency for the Right to Higher Education, Laboratorio Aperto di Ferrara, and representatives from various regional ITS.

With a new in-depth meeting already scheduled for the autumn, the course has been set: to continue building, step by step, a regional ecosystem that is not only capable of fully exploiting existing talent but also of stimulating innovation at every level.

The active role of the Ferrara Technology Park will ensure that the specific characteristics and excellence of the Ferrara area are fully integrated into this strategic vision, helping to strengthen Emilia-Romagna as a centre of excellence for research, training and innovation.
