Restoration and Cultural Heritage Days 2026
From 25 to 27 March at Palazzo Tassoni Estense, the eighth edition of the event organised by the Department of Architecture at the University of Ferrara.

The Restoration and Cultural Heritage Days return from 25 to 27 March 2026 at Palazzo Tassoni Estense in Ferrara, Via della Ghiara 36, with a full programme of meetings, presentations and conferences dedicated to the promotion and protection of historical and architectural heritage.
The programme of events begins on 25 March at 10:00 with the opening ceremony, followed by the conference "Research and innovation in built heritage: management, conservation and enhancement" from 11:00 to 13:00, coordinated by Clust-ER BUILD, the Emilia-Romagna High Technology Network, in collaboration with the Ferrara Technopole, the University of Ferrara and the TekneHub Laboratory.
At 2.30 pm, a symposium will be held on the theme “The Universality of Design: UID – Italian Union of Design for Innovation and the Internationalisation of Research”.
The day concludes at 5.30 pm with the award ceremony for the "Domus Restoration and Conservation Award, Existing Buildings and Architecture – Fassa Bartolo 2025–2026 Call for Entries".
On 26 March at 10.00 am, the conference “Designing amongst Historic Existing Structures” is scheduled. With Gonzalo Byrne and Werner Tscholl. This will be followed at 3.00 pm by the presentation of the book Gusto della varietas e circolazione di modelli. Ferrara estense e altri contesti. The event will conclude with a concert by the Ferrara Barbershop Quartet.
On 27 March, at the Ridotto del Teatro Comunale, Corso Martiri della Libertà 5, from 9.30 am, the meeting “Architect Vieri Quilici: thought and works” will take place.
