The Ferrara Technology Park opens its doors to university students, recent graduates, doctoral students, and researchers who wish to explore the world of applied research and its connections with the business community.

The event "Beyond the cure: a journey into the future of advanced therapies," scheduled for October 16, 2025, at the CUBO, takes participants on a journey to discover the advanced therapy technologies that are changing the way we treat the most complex diseases.

The initiative is organized by the Ferrara Technology Park, managed by the University of Ferrara in collaboration with ART-ER and ER.GO.

From research to medicine

During the morning, it will be possible to visit the Laboratory for Advanced Therapy Technologies (LTTA), a center of excellence at the Ferrara Technology Park, specializing in Life Sciences and Health Technologies.

Through a guided tour of the endothelial pathophysiology, genomics, and transcriptomics, and electron microscopy laboratories, participants will discover how the most modern cellular and molecular analysis techniques enable the development of advanced therapies capable of regenerating tissue and opening up new perspectives for medicine.

A regional ecosystem for research and innovation

The meeting will open with greetings and a presentation by Maria Giovanna Govoni, ART-ER representative for the Ferrara and Bologna regional offices, who will present the regional research and innovation ecosystem.

This will be followed by a presentation by Angela Princi, manager of the Ferrara Technopole, who will illustrate the activities of the Ferrara Technopole as a strategic hub for connecting academia, research, and business, and will present the cutting-edge activities and expertise of the Laboratory for Advanced Therapy Technologies.

The guided tour of the laboratories will then continue.
