Tax benefit for enterprises investing in research

In the suggestive setting of Palazzo Tassoni, home of the Department of Architecture at the University of Ferrara, an event dedicated to tax benefits for companies and incentives arising from financing and investing in research will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 10. Throughout the morning, there will be a series of speeches dedicated to providing information regarding the opportunities that legislation provides to boost industrial research, with a focus on tools for accessing tax benefits for companies that invest and finance research.
The event will be divided into three sessions.
After the institutional greetings of the Magnificent Dean of the University of Ferrara Laura Ramaciotti and the General Director Marco Pisano, the meeting will open with the first session, which will focus on technical tools for research and innovation, with the participation of Francesco Crovato, professor of Tax Law at the Department of Economics and Management of the University of Ferrara, and Marco Magrini, an accountant from the Bianchini-Magrini firm, consultant and trainer. The topics addressed will be: the research and development tax credit, the 2024/2026 two-year contribution exemptions and the deductibility of university research funding.
In the second session, Enrico Bracci, Pro-rector for Terza Missione at the University of Ferrara, will present the Ferrara Technopole as a component of the regional innovation ecosystem that adheres to the High Technology Network and makes expertise, infrastructure, equipment and services available to companies. University industrial research laboratories afferent to the Technopole will be presented by their respective scientific heads: Giorgio Dalpiaz for MechLav, Luisa Pasti for Terra&Acqua Tech, Paola Rizzo for LTTA and Marcello Balzani for Teknehub.
The third and final session will be focusing on the Ecosister project, with a presentation by Massimiliano Mazzanti, delegate for the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRP) and project manager, who will introduce the calls for business on ecological transition.
