Success for Road Show UpIdea!

The event organized by Sipro in collaboration with the Technopole of the University of Ferrara on October 30th was a great success. The main objective of the event, in addition to making known the structures that host work groups, innovative start-ups and young and dynamic companies, was to ‘create the opportunity to be known, to present their own business idea or entrepreneurial reality and above all “networking”, sharing ideas and ideas, as well as creating new synergies for future collaborations’ – as underlined by Chiara Franceschini, Head of European Design, Relations with the University of Ferrara and SIPRO incubators and by Paola Goldoni, Manager of the Technopole of University of Ferrara.

After a brief visit to the business incubator, owned by the Municipality of Ferrara and managed by SIPRO, and the Technopole, those present had a few minutes to talk about their mission and their idea in the “Pitch moment” dedicated to them .

For SIPRO there were: ARDA Solutions, Astolfi Engineering, BM Assemblaggi, IN4TECH and WAMO Studio.

For the Technopole, 2 spin-offs of the University of Ferrara, NEA and HELIX PHARMA and two research groups participated: one from the MechLav lab with a focus on ICT technology and the other coordinated by Prof. Michele Bottarelli of the TEKNEHUB lab,  with focus on energy efficiency in industrial and residential buildings.

The event was also attended by Vittorio Cavani and Annalisa Po of the Young Entrepreneurs of Confindustria Emilia who, on the occasion of the Roadshow UpIdea! Startup Program – Call for Innovation, presented this program that selects entrepreneurial and startup ideas and supports their development through an acceleration path created using skills and networks of productive enterprises. The program is promoted by the Young Entrepreneurs of Emilia-Romagna and Veneto Confindustria, coordinated by Unindustria Reggio Emilia and the contribution of the LUISS Enlabs accelerator.
