Ferrara Technopole at R2B 2023

The 18th International Exhibition dedicated to research and high skills for innovation will be held in Bologna on June 8 and 9 and will focus on the theme of talent and skills.
In the European Year of Skills, R2B will discuss strategies to attract and enhance young people with skills useful for business growth and society.
Two days of conferences, workshops and laboratories and more than 100 exhibitors including companies, universities, training institutions, research laboratories and startups to meet the protagonists of the innovation system, network and start new partnerships.
The Tecnopolo of Ferrara is participating with a dedicated booth and the organization of a networking workshop with the other Technopoles of Emilia-Romagna, as well as delivering a speech.
The June 9 workshop "Technopoles and Business: the Industrial Researcher as Accelerator of Innovation" will present the role of one of the foundational components of the regional innovation ecosystem in promoting research competencies as an accelerator of sustainable, durable and quality growth through tangible examples and direct testimonies of researchers, industrial exponents and R&D managers.
Our Tecnopole has invited Eng. Marco Schiavo, R&D of SIT S.p.A. a former Unife student, who will bring his testimonial about his job placement and industrial doctorate carried out at the University of Ferrara, thanks to his previous experience at the Mechlav laboratory.
Also on June 9 at 10:45 a.m. in the corner of the Technopole Network, Prof. Mattia Merlin afferent to the Mechlav laboratory of our Technopole, will illustrate some case studies resulting from collaborations with the industrial sector related to the metallurgical characterization of ferrous and non-ferrous metal alloys in the speech "the challenges of additive manufacturing of metallic materials: microstructure and heat treatment."
Last but not least, our Terra&Acqua Tech laboratory also participates in the Fair with a dedicated booth (Hall 21 booth B16) where you can get information on projects, research activities and collaborations offered.
