"Days of Restoration and Cultural Heritage"

On Tuesday, March 19, 2024, Palazzo Tassoni Estense in Ferrara opens its doors to the sixth edition of "Days of Restoration and Cultural Heritage."
Promoted by the Department of Architecture of the University of Ferrara with the collaboration of numerous partners including Tecnopolo, it includes conferences, exhibitions and symposia and continues until March 21, anticipating the next edition of "XIX Restauro – Exhibition on the art of Restoration and Conservation of the Cultural and Environmental Heritage," scheduled for next May.
The event, which promotes moments of discussion and debate on the enhancement of research and innovation of cultural heritage, begins at 10:30 a.m., after the opening ceremony, with the conference "Research and innovation on built heritage: the contribution of the Emilia-Romagna Region," organized by the BUILD Cluster and the Innova CHM Value Chain, in which the entity takes stock of the strategies put in place for knowledge, conservation, recovery, reconstruction and digital transformation of cultural heritage.
From 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., with the symposium "Innovation and Internationalization of Research," experts will discuss the topics of innovation in thematic areas such as Digitization and Visualization and Social Innovation and the conservation of the built, historical and artistic heritage.
The day culminates with the Award Ceremony of the International Prize for Architectural Restoration "Domus Restoration and Conservation Fassa Bortolo," scheduled from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Conceived and promoted in 2010 by "Fassa Bortolo" and the Department of Architecture of UNIFE, it stems from the desire to enhance and present to a wide audience architectural restorations that have been able to interpret in a coherent and responsible way the conservation principles in which the scientific community recognizes itself, even resorting to contemporary forms of expression.
The sixth edition of the "Days of Restoration and Cultural Heritage" is organized by: University of Ferrara - Department of Architecture; International Academy After the Damages; Clust-ER BUILD; Future in Research Consortium; Tecnopolo and the TekneHub laboratory; LABORA, Laboratory of Architectural Restoration; DIAPReM.
The initiative will continue on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 - 9:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. with the Conference TASTE OF VARIETAS AND VARIETY OF MODELS BETWEEN KNOWLEDGE AND APPLICATION, which will also affect Thursday, March 21, 2024.
On Wednesday, March 20, 2024, a musical meeting is also scheduled for 6:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.: MUSIC IN TIME Polyphonic concert with music from the 16th to the 20th century.
